Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, public relations, or related field or equivalency required. Six years of related experience required that includes an established record of successful fund-raising for non-profit entities and upper-level management experience. Management experience includes financial/budget oversight, supervision, strategic planning, creating and implementing departmental programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of departmental systems and programs, particularly as it relates to donor relationships and solicitations. The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to enthusiastically promote KUED to donors, viewers, community leaders and the general public. Demonstrated writing, analytical, verbal, organizational and human relations skills are critical. Presentation and public speaking experience required. The successful candidate must be able to collaborate and develop partnerships with volunteers, KUED board members, vendors, other PBS stations and community and corporate leaders. (more…)
