Dooners Restaurant Review

We cruised over to Dooners, the new restaurant on 12600 down the road from Bangerter. They are a new food location and we hoped to find a new place to eat. Despite being disorganized and not being able to serve everything on their menu, the place seemed clean and fresh. The food, however, was a whole different experience.
We tried their trademarked “Dooner” and were more than let down. The Dooner is a spin-off pita pocket, but nowhere near as enjoyable. The servers were sloppy and the cashier clueless. Holding out for the food itself, we sat down to enjoy and quickly realized the Dooner is flavorless, zestless, and overall poor. We gave up on it after just a few bites, and let the kids have at it. Curiously, the kids rejected it immediately.
Well, the fries were so undercooked that I had to take them back up for replacement. They took the fries and said they’d bring us a fresh batch. After 20 minutes of waiting, we just walked out and chalked the cost up to experience. We’ll not be returning to Dooners, as it was not worth the time or money for even giving it a try.
