Albertsons At 104 & Bangerter

More than a few times, the local Albertsons has really gone out of their way to do a great job. We’ve often pursued Walmart for lowest prices, but find the crowds and chaos less than an enjoyable experience. What’s more, Walmart can be unreliable for stocking special items or handling special requests.

The Albertsons employees really impressed us by being so courteous and helpful even in the middle of the night. We had a curious shock when we received a hand written letter from the store manager to thank us for visiting and to inquire if our rain check had worked out for us. Nope, it was not a printed letter nor a printed signature, it was hand written! How cool is that?

One of our kids had a really bad day from fatigue and finally had a breakdown in the store. With enough clamor to shake the glass and scare other patrons, a helpful employee came to offer assistance, free cookies from the bakery, and to ask if he could do anything to help.

While my wife was waiting out front for me to arrive with the car, the manager asked her if an employee could offer a ride or if she needed to make a call, and to make sure she was okay. Perhaps once or even twice might such helpfulness and kind consideration be left uncommented, but they have been so great they deserve some credit.

Walmart may have some good prices, but the experiences at our Albertsons has been super fabulous and the prices are still great. For the travel distance savings, time in and out of the store, and the reliability of the store, Albertsons has become the best choice. We know they care and take an active role in making our shopping a quality experience.

By the way, they sell sturdy material grocery bags for 99¢ to help prevent waste and promote a green earth.
